James Couch

James Couch has a diverse work experience primarily with Smithfield Foods. James started their career in 1995 as the Senior Corporate Director of Purchasing, Energy, and Environmental Operations at Smithfield Beef Group. In 2008, they joined Smithfield Foods, Inc. as the Corporate Strategic Sourcing Supplier Relations Manager. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Corporate Supplier Relations Manager. Following this, they joined the Smithfield Foods Strategic Sourcing & Service Group in 2014 as the Corporate Director of Operational Improvement. James'smost recent role is the Corporate Director of Equipment Engineering, which they have held since 2018 at Smithfield Foods.

James Couch obtained an Associate of Science degree in Accounting from Amarillo College from 1977 to 1979. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued and completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Colorado Technical University.
