Andrew Nelson

Andrew Nelson is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer III at SmithGroup since October 2021. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a Mechanical Engineer at CS2 Design Group, LLC from August 2014 to October 2021, and held the same position at Ghafari Associates from September 2008 to August 2014. Early in the career, Andrew gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Prince Industries in 2006. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, where studies were completed between 2004 and 2008, following initial education at Western Michigan University from 2003 to 2004.
