David Vernellis

David Vernellis has over two decades of experience in structural engineering and leadership roles, primarily at SmithGroup, where positions have included Vice President, Southwest Region Practice Director, and Vice President, Phoenix/Denver Director of Operations, among others. Prior to joining SmithGroup in January 2001, David Vernellis worked as a Structural Engineer at Walker Parking Consultants from January 1998 to August 1999. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both earned from the University of Michigan, with the bachelor's degree completed in 1997 and the master's degree pursued from 1999 to 2000.
