Diane Syer

Diane Syer is a seasoned talent management professional with extensive experience at SmithGroup since 2012, currently serving as Vice President and Director of Talent Management. In this role, Diane develops and implements strategies to attract and nurture talent, overseeing areas such as talent acquisition, training, and leadership development. Previous positions at SmithGroup include Senior Principal, Principal, and Associate, where Diane contributed to the evolution of talent management processes and developed programs like the Emerging Leaders Program. Prior to SmithGroup, Diane worked at Ceridian as a Senior Training Consultant and began her career at Employee Assistance Associates as a Corporate Trainer. Diane also served as a guest lecturer at Eastern Michigan University and holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University.
