Karthik Ramadurai

Karthik Ramadurai is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in the architecture field, currently serving as a Senior Principal I Design Leader at SmithGroup since November 2018. Karthik also holds a position as a Board Member for the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health since January 2024. Previous roles include Vice President at HKS, Inc. from May 2015 to October 2018, and Associate at SmithGroupJJR from February 2011 to May 2015. Karthik began a career in architecture as an Architect/Project Leader at The Beck Group from February 2010 to February 2011 and worked as an Architect/Designer at RTKL Associates Inc. from July 2003 to October 2009, specializing in programming, planning, and producing construction documents. Karthik's educational background includes a Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Madras. The design philosophy focuses on creating people-friendly and sustainable spaces that are functional, practical, and innovative.
