Katherine Antarikso

Katherine Antarikso, AIA, is a seasoned architectural professional currently serving as a Senior Project Architect and Associate at SmithGroup since August 2025. Prior to this role, Katherine contributed significantly at HOK from February 2016 to July 2025, holding positions as Senior Associate and Project Architect, while also participating on HOK’s Technical Board and founding the Designing for Equity research initiative. Notably, Katherine represented the Northeast Practice on the Diversity Advisory Council and played a key role in developing the Diversity X Design minority student scholarship program. Additionally, Katherine was an Activist-Curator Fellow at The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation between October 2020 and January 2023. Previous experience includes work as a Project Architect at Stantec and Burt Hill, focusing on higher education projects, as well as earlier roles as an Architectural Designer at several firms. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Penn State University and has international study experience in Rome.
