Ning Gao

Ning Gao is an Associate, Campus Planner, and Project Manager at SmithGroup, where since January 2015, expertise in higher education planning is applied to develop unified action plans driven by data and consensus-building. Additionally, as an Urban Designer, Ning collaborates on domestic and international city and regional projects, focusing on sustainable urban spaces. Prior experience includes working as a Landscape Designer at Surface 678 from October 2012 to December 2014, engaging in site analysis and design under professional supervision. Ning holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Tongji University, and a recent Certificate in Data Science & Visualization from Northwestern University.
