Zac Young

Zac Young is a Landscape Architect with extensive experience in various roles across multiple firms, currently serving at SmithGroup since August 2024. Prior to this, Zac held positions at Tessere, Hamilton Anderson Associates, and Terracina Design, where projects ranged from urban infill developments to zoo renovations and extensive community planning in Metro Detroit and the Greater Denver area. Zac has a strong background in managing design processes, producing project documentation, facilitating entitlement processes, and collaborating closely with architects and stakeholders. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Connecticut, obtained in 2013. Zac is recognized for contributions to impactful projects and holds professional designations as a PLA, ASLA, and SITES AP.
