Tyrone Seneviratne

Tyrone Seneviratne is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in programming and systems analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst Programmer at Foodstuffs (South Island) Ltd since November 2016, Tyrone previously held the position of Analyst Programmer at Smiths City Group Ltd from April 2000. With over two decades of experience, Tyrone has contributed to various roles, including as an Analyst Programmer at IBM for the Y2K project and as a Management Information Systems Analyst at John Keells Holdings PLC, where oversight of project lifecycles for multiple subsidiaries was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes significant positions at Standard Chartered Bank and Ceylon Carriers Travel Service Ltd, which involved product development, system enhancements, and management of critical financial functions. Tyrone holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Analysis & Design from the University of Colombo, complemented by foundational education at St Anthony’s College.
