Katherine Morris

Katherine Morris has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Katherine currently holds the position of Director - Business Engagement for Smiths Interconnect, Corporate, and ESG at Smiths Group plc. Prior to this, they served as a Business Engagement Manager and E-Technology Service Manager for the same company.

Before joining Smiths Group plc, Katherine worked at Barclays Bank for several years. Katherine was the SharePoint & Intranet Service Owner (Vice President) at Barclays, where they were responsible for managing the Collaboration and Intranet SharePoint service for over 120,000 global bank colleagues. Katherine also served as the Head of Collaboration Services, overseeing the bank's internal collaboration offering and driving the deployment of SharePoint 2010.

Katherine's career at Barclays began as a SharePoint Service Manager for 90,000 retail colleagues. Katherine then worked their way up to become a Web Developer and Team Manager within the Ecommerce team, managing and developing new websites and content for external facing markets.

Prior to joining Barclays, Katherine worked as a Web Developer for Woolwich plc, where they managed and maintained external facing websites. Katherine also gained sales experience as a Sales Executive at Electrolux PLC.

Katherine Morris attended the University of Nottingham from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Maths with Engineering and focused on Theoretical Mechanics. In 2014, they completed a training program at QA Training, specializing in Prince2 - Foundation & Practitioner. Prior to university, Katherine attended Wallace High School in Lisburn from 1989 to 1995.
