Pam Cheng

Pam Cheng currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Stevens Institute of Technology and as Executive Vice President of Global Operations & IT and Chief Scientific Officer at AstraZeneca since June 2015. In addition, Pam Cheng is a Board Member at Smiths Group plc and previously at Codexis, Inc. from 2014 to June 2020. Pam Cheng held various leadership positions at Merck from 1997 to 2015, including President of MSD China and Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management & Logistics and Technical Operations & Engineering. Early in the career, Pam Cheng worked as a Senior Engineer at ISP and as a Process & Controls Engineer at UOP. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, along with a Master of Business Administration from Pace University.
