James Clease has a diverse work experience in supply chain and procurement roles. James currently serves as the Senior Operations and Supply Chain Director at Smiths Interconnect since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Global Procurement and Supply Chain Director at the same company from April 2019 to April 2023. Before joining Smiths Interconnect, they worked as the Head of Clinical Procurement at Specsavers from February 2018 to March 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Global Sourcing Director at Smiths Medical from February 2011 to February 2018. James also has experience as a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager at Chemring EOD Ltd. from July 2009 to February 2011. Before that, they served as the Lead Programme Sourcing Manager at Flight Refuelling Ltd. from 2006 to 2009. Their earliest role was as a Programme Purchasing Manager at Visteon from February 2000 to May 2006.
James Clease completed their BSc in Business Administration from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 1999. From 2001 to 2004, they pursued a degree in Purchasing & Supply, obtaining an MCIPS from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
