Anthony Burand is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in design assurance and software testing. Currently serving as Principal Engineer Design Assurance at Smiths Medical since 2009, Anthony oversees design assurance activities for the Medfusion infusion pump product line utilized in NICU, PICU, and ICU settings. Prior to this role, Anthony held prominent positions at Unisys from 1985 to 2009, including Principal Engineer for Hospital Infusion Systems and Project Manager, where responsibilities included leading software test and integration teams and developing automated testing facilities. Anthony possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
