Duncan Currie

Duncan Currie is an experienced operations professional with a strong background in team leadership and management. Currently serving as Operations Team Leader at Smiths News since December 2022, Duncan previously held the role of Area Manager at Amazon Logistics from December 2019 to June 2022. Prior to that, Duncan worked as a Marine Licensing Case Officer at the Marine Management Organisation, focusing on environmental impact assessment and application reviews. Duncan's extensive career in HM Forces spanned over three decades, including a position as Deputy Command Flight Safety Officer and service as a SAR pilot with 771 NAS in the Royal Navy. Educational qualifications include an HNC in Navigational Science from Warsash College of Nautical Studies and completion of studies at Galashiels Academy.
