Abigail Pocasangre serves as the Digital Design Manager for Advancement Communications & Marketing at the Smithsonian Institution since May 2017, leading digital design efforts and creating digital publications such as the annual report and IMPACT publication. Prior to this role, Abigail contributed as a Graphic Design Contractor, playing a pivotal role in the digital transformation of communication strategies and managing web content. Abigail's experience includes graphic design internships where traditional and digital communications projects were developed, and earlier roles involved assisting HR functions and managing document organization at Calvert Systems Engineering. Abigail holds a Master of Science in Digital Marketing and Design from Brandeis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Maryland.
