Amber Darby, Ph.D., serves as a Historian at Kenney Business Solutions, Inc., beginning in March 2023, where expertise is applied to manage and direct the Historian Program for the Transportation Security Administration, encompassing project management and the creation of historical content. In addition to current employment, Amber has volunteered as a Castle Docent at the Smithsonian Institution since July 2018, enhancing visitor experiences through informative tours. Previous roles include Visitor Services Assistant at multiple Smithsonian locations, history intern at Ford's Theatre Society, and research intern at Sister Cities International. Amber holds a Doctor's Degree in History and a Master of Arts in History from Liberty University, alongside a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in English - Creative Writing with a minor in History from Randolph College.
