Amy D'Amico is an accomplished educator and professional with extensive experience in science education. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University since January 2014, D'Amico teaches upper-level courses in the Biology Department. In addition to academic roles, D'Amico has been the Director of Professional Services at the Smithsonian Institution's Science Education Center since May 2012, overseeing initiatives to enhance K-12 science education. Prior positions include Assistant Teaching Professor at Georgetown University, Senior Program Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution, and various teaching roles at Northeastern University, Cambridge Public Schools, and MIT. D'Amico holds a PhD in Biology from Northeastern University and a BA in Biology from New York University.
