Daniel H. Davies

Daniel H. Davies, CFM, has a notable career in facilities management with the Smithsonian Institution since 1994, currently serving as Facilities Manager for the South Mall Zone, overseeing significant properties including the Smithsonian Castle and several prestigious museums. Daniel's previous roles include managing facilities at the National Zoo and the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture. In addition to extensive practical experience, Daniel has contributed to the International Association of Museum Facility Administrators as Board Secretary and Papyrus Editor, and served as President of the Museum & Cultural Institution Council of IFMA. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science from Rutgers University, a Certificate in Facilities Management from George Mason University, and a Fellowship in Excellence in Government from the Partnership for Public Service, among other certifications.
