Elizabeth Palmieri

Elizabeth Palmieri serves as the Lead HR Specialist (Classification) at the Smithsonian Institution, where responsibilities include the design and implementation of institution-wide policies for position classification and management, ensuring compliance with Federal laws and best practices. Previous roles include Senior Human Resources Specialist at the National Park Service and HR Specialist at the U.S. Department of Justice, where services ranged from recruitment to classification for various offices. In addition to HR experience, Elizabeth has a background in education and wellness, having worked as a licensed massage therapist and teacher intern.
