Emily Frost serves as a Web and Digital Content Producer at the Smithsonian Institution since February 2023, previously holding the title of Web Content Manager for the Ocean Portal at the National Museum of Natural History from April 2012 to February 2023. During this period, Emily led the site's redesign in 2018 and managed content, voice, budget, and fundraising efforts. Prior to the Smithsonian, Emily worked at The Pew Charitable Trusts as an Associate in the Ocean Science Division, where outreach efforts involved creating summaries and infographics from peer-reviewed research. Earlier experiences include roles as a Policy Intern at Oceana, a Research Assistant at Anteon, and a Communications and Policy Intern at NOAA. Emily holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management with a focus on Marine Policy from the Bren School, University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
