Hsin Tung

Hsin Tung is a Full Stack Developer at the Smithsonian Institution since January 2021, specializing in enhancing a 3D digital asset management solution and optimizing front-end performance with React. Previously, Hsin served as a Software Engineering Assistant Instructor at Hack Reactor, mentoring over 100 junior engineers in web development. Hsin has also worked on significant personal projects, including backend development for a lodging-booking application and frontend development for an apartment rental photo gallery microservice. Prior experience includes roles as a Subject Instructor and College Admission Adviser at Wagor International School, a Research Assistant at UC Davis's Ferreira Psycholinguistics Lab, a Global Wealth Intern at Morgan Stanley, and a Student Counselor at Icon Institute. Hsin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
