Kenneth Cohen

Kenneth Cohen is an accomplished historian and curatorial professional currently serving as Chair of Military History and Curator of Early American History at the Smithsonian Institution, where responsibilities include managing a team of curators and overseeing a significant collection of military artifacts. Previously, Kenneth directed the Museum Studies Program and served as an Associate Professor of History at the University of Delaware, contributing to scholarly research on popular and political culture. With extensive experience as a public speaker and consultant, Kenneth provides insights on the interactions between American entertainment and politics, as well as community engagement in museums.
