Emily Schley

Emily Schley, CPA, currently serves as Tax Manager at Smith & Associates since June 2021. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Family Office Controller at Camillo Properties from July 2019 to March 2021 and served as Tax Manager at BDO USA, LLP from February 2018 to June 2019. From March 1999 to December 2017, Emily was Tax Manager at The Friedkin Group, overseeing tax operations for various affiliated companies in diverse industries, including automotive and hospitality. Emily began her career as a Tax Accountant at Pool Energy Services Company in June 1998 before progressing to Senior Tax Accountant. Emily earned a BBA in Accounting from Texas State University, following earlier studies at The University of Texas at Austin.
