Eric Leest has extensive experience in purchasing and account management, spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an International Account Representative at Smith & Associates since December 2012, Eric possesses a strong technological acumen. Prior roles include Purchasing Director at Magnum Electronics Incorporated, where responsibilities involved managing cost estimates and proposals exceeding $7 million, leading a significant expansion of the sales team, and nurturing supplier relationships. Earlier positions include Senior Buyer at Magnum Electronics, where Eric achieved consistent profitability, and Purchasing Agent/Sales Associate at Semi Specialist of America, which laid the foundation for expertise in electronic components. Eric began a career in finance as a licensed stockbroker at Josephthal Lyons and Ross. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University at Albany.
