Rene van der Bijl

Rene van der Bijl is an experienced professional in the construction and project management sectors, currently serving as Operationeel Directeur at Smits Vastgoedzorg since April 2018, after holding the position of Manager Bedrijfsbureau. Prior to this, Rene spent over a decade at Brink Groep in various roles, including Senior Projectmanager, where notable projects included the restoration of Rijksmonument Kanaalweg 2b and the revitalization of Holland Casino Scheveningen. Rene also contributed as a Projectmanager on major projects such as the Stadskantoor Rotterdam and a datacenter in Amsterdam. Early career experience includes positions as a Proces Manager, Junior Kosten Adviseur, and Projectmanager in interim roles, including for Rederij de Rotterdam B.V.
