Ben Pomeroy

Ben Pomeroy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ben most recently served as the VP of Finance at Smokeball - Legal Software starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Global Controller at Simfoni from 2022 to 2022. Before that, they worked at Genfare as a Financial Controller from 2020 to 2022, where they managed a team and implemented process improvements. Ben also has experience at GE Healthcare as a Senior Finance Manager from 2019 to 2020, leading a cross-functional team and providing guidance on system adoption. Prior to that, they worked at GE Digital in various finance roles, including Commercial Finance Manager and Global FP&A Manager. Ben started their career at GE in the Financial Management Program and later served as a Lead Balance Sheet Analyst. Ben also had internships at GE, Ace Hardware Corporation, and Beam Suntory. Overall, Ben has a strong background in finance and has held leadership positions in planning, analysis, and control functions.

Ben Pomeroy obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy, Execution and Valuation (SEV) and Accountancy from DePaul Driehaus College of Business in 2017. Ben also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Economics from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, completed between 2005 and 2009. In addition, they have obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in September 2021.
