George Henderson

George Henderson has over 20 years of experience in human resources. George began their career at Anglo American, where they worked as a Human Resources Practitioner and participated in the Human Resources Graduate Program. George then joined Woolworths as a Regional Human Resources Manager before moving to Smollan. At Smollan, they held various roles, including Business Unit Human Resources Manager, Group Human Resources Manager, and Chief People Officer. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies, managing employee relations, talent management, and organizational change. George has extensive experience in HR processes, systems, and compliance, as well as team management and stakeholder relationship management.

George Henderson attended Pretoria Technikon in 1994, where they received a National Diploma in Human Resources Management. In 2003, they studied Advanced Labour Law at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
