Michelle Bignall

Michelle Bignall is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in leadership and talent development, currently serving as a Global People Specialist at Smollan since June 2014. In this role, Michelle leads the design and implementation of leadership development programs across global territories, while also supporting key initiatives. Previously, Michelle held the position of People Partner and HR Manager for several provinces in South Africa, focusing on strategy creation and implementation for a workforce of 2,200. Before that, Michelle worked as a Senior HR Officer for Tiger Brands, overseeing HR strategy in different regions with a combined headcount exceeding 2,000 employees. Michelle began her career as an HR Officer at Mondelez, and has also contributed academically as a part-time lecturer. Michelle holds an MBA from Henley Business School and has a solid educational foundation in Human Resource Management.
