Vijay Varshney

Vijay Varshney has over two decades of experience in various technology roles. Vijay started their career at Hindustan Unilever Ltd. as a Systems Executive, where they focused on implementing warehouse management systems and ensuring compliance to IT policies. Vijay then moved on to become a Sr. Systems Executive before joining Hindustan Unilever Field Services Pvt Ltd as a Systems Manager. In 2010, they joined Hindustan Field Services Pvt Ltd as the Head of IT. In 2015, they joined Smollan as the General Manager of Technology, leading a software development team and deploying solutions for businesses. Currently, they are the Head of Technology for MESA at Smollan, where they are responsible for the strategy, development, and deployment of mobility solutions across 40 countries. Vijay is also the Chief Operating Officer for MEA (Data & Technology) at Smollan. Throughout their career, Vijay has demonstrated expertise in technology solutions and digital transformation projects.

Vijay Varshney has a strong educational background. Vijay obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in International Business and Finance from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they completed their Post Graduation in Operational Research from Delhi University's Hindu College between 1992 and 1994. Vijay also holds a Bachelor's degree in Science, which they earned from Delhi University's Hindu College from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, they completed their Boards in Science with Engineering Drawing at The Air Force School, Subroto Park from 1986 to 1989. In terms of additional certifications, Vijay acquired Data Literacy Fundamentals through the Data Literacy institution in 2023.
