Kortney Luby

Kortney Luby is an experienced video professional with a diverse background in editing and production. Currently serving as an Editor at Smosh since June 2023, Kortney has honed skills through freelance video editing since May 2014, editing over 400 videos with custom LUTs and motion design. Previously, Kortney worked as a Producer at Skybound Entertainment from April 2018 to August 2022, effectively collaborating with clients and leading teams to create pitch decks. Kortney's earlier roles include managing YouTube channels and producing content at Ripple Entertainment, along with experience as an Associate Producer at VIP Productions and as an Editor at Ringling College of Art and Design. Kortney's career began in customer service as a Photo Specialist at Walgreens. Educationally, Kortney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Ringling College of Art and Design, earned in 2015.
