Andrew Cohen

CEO & Founder at SMR Consulting

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SMR Consulting, Andrew Cohen discovered a passion for technology at the age of six while tinkering with his Dad's computers. It’s been a tech-centric life since then.

For more than 25 years, Andrew has worked in the Information Technology field in a variety of roles. Prior to establishing SMR, Andrew worked for 11 years in Lotus Development Corp’s Professional Services group (eventually becoming IBM), for which he consulted for dozens of companies all over the world including many Fortune 500 businesses.

Andrew is an avid bicyclist and has competed in races domestically and internationally. He participates annually in the Pan-Mass Challenge, raising money for cancer research.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University. He is currently working on a combined Master of Science in Finance/Master of Business Administration, also from Northeastern University (Go Huskies!), made possible by the free time gained after his triplet daughters’ recent graduation from high school.
