Desmond Yeo

Desmond Yeo is currently serving as the Director of Rail Safety and Director of Safety & Health Policy at SMRT Corporation Ltd since July 2022. Prior to this role, Desmond spent 35 years in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), holding key positions such as Defence Attache in Brunei, Commander of the SAF Basic Military Training Centre (BMTC), and Head of the Army Safety Inspectorate, along with various leadership roles including School Commander, Battalion Commander, and Brigade Commander. Desmond holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Second Upper Honors in Business & Finance from the National University of Singapore, graduated in May 1992.
