Lu Liu

Lu Liu is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at SMRT Corporation Ltd since March 2025. Prior to this role, Lu Liu was the Head of Engineering at Boxo from February 2023 to March 2025 and held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Dapper Labs from June 2022 to January 2023. Lu Liu's extensive tenure at PayPal from April 2011 to June 2022 included roles as Engineering Manager, Member of Technical Staff, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Earlier experience as a Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore involved the independent implementation of a visualization module using the Qt platform and OpenGL to create a 3D animated data cube. Lu Liu holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, obtained in 2010.
