Dr Rajiv Chhibber

Dr Rajiv Chhibber, PhD has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to external affairs, policy, government relations, and communications. Dr Rajiv is currently the Vice President of External Affairs at Sahajanand Medical Technologies, a leading developer and manufacturer of minimally invasive coronary stent systems. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Director of Policy and Government Affairs at MSD Pharmaceuticals. Dr Chhibber also has experience in the public health sector, where they served as the Head of External Communications at the Public Health Foundation of India. Dr Rajiv has also worked as a Manager of Corporate Communications at TERI and as a Correspondent for India Globe International.

Dr Rajiv Chhibber, PhD, has an extensive education history. In 1996, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in English Hons at Delhi University. Following that, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at Chaudhary Charan Singh University.

In 2000, Dr Chhibber attended Montgomery College, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Newspaper and Feature Writing. Dr Rajiv continued their studies at the University of Maryland from 2001 to 2003, earning another Post Graduate Diploma, this time in Journalism with a focus on Mass Communication, Media Studies, and International Affairs.

In 2014, Dr Chhibber enrolled at Emory University School of Medicine for a course in Public Health Leadership in NCDs (Non-Communicable Diseases) within the field of International Public Health and International Health.

Most recently, from 2017 to 2019, Dr Chhibber pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Azteca University in Mexico. Their PhD focused on Global Public Health Communication and Policy.
