Helen Ong

As Vice President of Finance, Ms. Ong leads the strategic and operational leadership of the finance and accounting activities. She is key partner to operations, engineering and support teams in driving improved business performance.

Helen has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting at multinational corporations across several industries. Before joining SMTC, Ms. Ong has served in progressively responsible roles at Avnet, most recently, as Global Vice President of Finance for Avnet Integrated Solutions and as Director of Finance for Avnet Electronic Components. Prior to Avnet, she served as CFO of Research International, a world leader in custom market research services.
