Josh Chien

As Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Chien is the executive leader of the Sales organization. He is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base, and the growth and acquiring of new customers on a global basis. In addition, he is responsible for Customer Service Excellence and communicating SMTC’s value proposition of innovative solutions.

Mr. Chien is a respected leader with over 15 years of experience in the EMS industry. Prior to joining SMTC, he held various roles within Operations, Customer Advocacy, Program Management and Business Development at Sanmina Corporation. During his career he launched dozens of New Product Introductions, New Customer Introductions and managed accounts in excess of $100M. Prior to Sanmina, he worked in aerospace manufacturing.

Mr. Chien holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University of California, Berkeley.
