Debashis Mondal

Debashis Mondal has a strong background in engineering and technical leadership. Debashis served as Principal Engineer at SMUD since 2016. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2016, Debashis worked at Arizona Public Service (APS) as a Sr. EMS Engineer, where they demonstrated expertise in SCADA, AGC/GDC, ICCP, and other areas of EMS. During their time at APS, Debashis also took on additional responsibilities as a technical leader during the ADMS project and led the SCADA team. Before APS, from 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Systems Analyst at GE Energy Management and as an Associate Consultant at Mindtree.

Debashis Mondal obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College in 1999. Debashis went on to pursue a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Power System at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they have attended The University of Arizona Global Campus, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
