Denver Hinds

Denver Hinds is a Principal Electrical Engineer and R&D Supervisor at SMUD, specializing in the development of energy optimization systems to enhance efficiency for utility operators and customers since February 2012. Previously, Denver held various roles at Spot Devices, including Vice President of Systems Engineering and Vice President of Product Development and Manufacturing Operations, focusing on business development and intelligent safety products. Earlier experience includes serving as an Electrical Engineer at NASA Ames Research Center and software development roles at TL Creates and Siemens AG. Denver holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Pacific.
