Kathy Ketchum

Kathy (Thompson) Ketchum has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Kathy started their career as a Senior Accountant at Perry-Smith LLP, where they performed financial statement and compliance audits. Kathy then joined Sutter Health as a Senior Accountant, where they prepared consolidated financial statements and supervised a team of accountants. Kathy went on to work at Eskaton as the Director of Finance, overseeing the financial and accounting functions of the organization. Kathy later joined the California Bankers Association as a Controller, responsible for the accounting of the Banker Benefits subsidiary. Currently, Kathy is employed at SMUD, where they serve as a Principal Financial Accountant and Plant Accounting Supervisor, managing fixed asset records and supervising a team of accountants.

Kathy (Thompson) Ketchum earned their second Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from California State University-Sacramento in 1991. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the California State Board of Accountancy in September 1993.
