Kevin Fennelly is a Telecommunications Engineer at SMUD since May 2021, focusing on developing a DWDM/ROADM optical network to support the organization's 2030 Carbon-Neutral goal. Kevin's experience also includes serving as a Senior Product Specialist for ROADM/DWDM at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, responsible for the expansion and support of optical transport systems. Earlier roles involved a System Performance Engineer position at Verizon Wireless, a Lead Data Engineer role at Frontier Communications, and a Senior Principal Systems Engineer at BT-Infonet. Kevin's engineering career began at Vector Resources, Inc. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering - Communications Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University.
