Laxcha Bantawa

Laxcha Bantawa is an experienced Executive Assistant at SMUGGLER since October 2017 and a Freelance Nepalese Translator for Debonair Languages since May 2017. Bantawa has contributed to various production roles, including a Script Supervisor Trainee and Production Runner at BBC and Production Runner/Editor at Thomson Reuters Foundation. Additional experience includes working as a Floor Runner at MAGIC BEAR PRODUCTIONS LIMITED and an Editor for the BAFTA-winning trailer of "Carnival Messiah" at PANOPTICAL LTD. Bantawa also served as a Camera Woman/Assistant Director at Manto Films and was involved as an Assistant Producer and Nepali translator in the documentary "I Am Belmaya" with Tide Turner Films. Prior experience includes roles at ITV Studios, where responsibilities included producing confidential documents and shadowing editorial staff for "Emmerdale." Laxcha Bantawa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Cumbria, attained between 2011 and 2014.
