Renee Kao

Renee Kao is a dedicated graphic designer with extensive experience in the music and entertainment industries. Current roles include Graphic Designer and Visualist at SMUGGLER, and Freelance Graphic Designer for Universal Music Group, where original designs for artist merchandise are created. As the Lead Graphic Designer for Shabang Music Productions, Renee successfully led branding efforts for a large music festival. Previous positions include full-time graphic designer at The Grand Distro, where work included branding and large-scale print design, and internships in creative roles at Red Light Management and Darkroom. Renee holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has demonstrated leadership skills as General Manager and Co-Founder of .wav zine.
