Jill Valenzuela Schapiro

Jill Valenzuela Schapiro is an accomplished people executive with extensive experience in recruiting and human resources. Currently serving as Vice President of People at Flickr since May 2018 and Chief People Officer at SmugMug since November 2010, Jill is dedicated to enhancing company culture by recruiting and engaging top talent. Prior to these roles, Jill worked as a Manager and Senior Technical Recruiter at Expanxion from November 2007 to November 2010, where responsibilities included hiring and training technical recruiters and collaborating with startups to build effective teams. Earlier experience includes a position as Sales Representative and Account Manager at Chicago Title from 2004 to 2006. Jill holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2004.
