Marija Jovanovic

Marija Jovanovic is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Financial Controller at Smurfit Kappa since November 2021. Prior to this role, Marija held the position of Head of Financial Operations at Triple Jump Group from August 2017 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing working capital, enhancing internal workflows, and overseeing budgeting and financial reporting. Marija also served as a Financial Analyst at Triple Jump from October 2014 to August 2017 and has a background in marketing finance with JTI, where positions included Consumer and Trade Marketing Budget Supervisor and Marketing Controlling Analyst. Marija's career began as a Credit and Treasury Trainee at JTI and included leadership experience as VP of Finance at ESTIEM. Marija's educational qualifications include a Diploma in Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and advanced degrees in Operations Research and Organizational Sciences from the University of Belgrade.
