Peter Fleurkens

Peter Fleurkens is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the paper and packaging industry, notably as a Board Member of the Dutch Smurfit Kappa Pension Funds and a retired CFO for the Recycled Paper Cluster at Smurfit Kappa, overseeing significant operations across multiple countries. Peter has held various key financial management roles, including Managing Director of Paper Services and CFO of the RPE Cluster, demonstrating expertise in operations that generate over one billion euros in net sales. Additionally, Peter serves as the Chair of the Curatorium for Nyenrode University’s RC/EFMC Post Master program. Peter’s educational background includes advanced degrees in auditing, controlling, and information management from respected institutions such as Maastricht University, Nyenrode Business University, and INSEAD.
