Michael Caravello

Michael Caravello is an experienced IT professional with over 20 years in cybersecurity and cloud computing. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Michael also holds positions as a Cloud Security Architect at Smartronix Technologies Limited and a Senior Solution Architect at SMX. Previous roles include adjunct professorships focused on cybersecurity and cloud computing at The George Washington University and Northern Virginia Community College. Michael's extensive background includes leading cloud security initiatives at USAA and Onica, as well as serving as a pivotal resource for multiple government agencies such as the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Michael's educational qualifications include master’s degrees from Virginia Tech and George Mason University, along with a Master of Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree from UCF College of Business.
