Jens Meinhard Rasmussen

Jens Meinhard Rasmussen is an accomplished maritime executive with extensive leadership experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at Smyril Line since 2008, Rasmussen also holds the position of CEO at Skansi Offshore and Chairman of the Board for Shipowners of the Faroe Islands and Magn. Previous roles include significant positions at Skeljungur hf and the Faroese Merchant Shipowners Association. Rasmussen’s foundational education includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Københavns Universitet and a Master Mariner degree from Faroese Maritime Academy. Additional executive training was obtained at IMD in 2010.
