Jayna Syal

Jayna Syal is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as an Environmental Regulatory Officer at Snack Brands Australia since April 2021. Prior to this role, Jayna worked as a Contaminated Land Environmental Scientist at Consulting Earth Scientists Pty Ltd, focusing on soil and groundwater remediation at various landfill sites across New South Wales. Jayna's experience also includes serving as a Climate Change and Decent Work Technical Consultant at the International Labour Organization, where expertise was provided on environment and climate-related issues, and as an Environment and Decent Work Intern contributing to research and data management on environmental indicators. Jayna holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Lucknow, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Fergusson College, and is currently pursuing a Certificate IV in Environmental Management and Sustainability at TAFE NSW.
