Ankit Desai

Ankit Desai began their career in 2011 as a Writer for Madridismo SL, where they wrote satirical columns about the Real Madrid sports team. In 2012, they worked as a Web Developer for the Institute for Human Development and Disabilities, where they revamped the company's website to improve user experience and drive online product sales. Ankit also served as a Grady Ambassador at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, where they represented the college to potential donors, led tours, and performed various administrative tasks.

In 2014, Ankit interned as a Strategy Consultant at Banijay Group before transitioning to a role as Head of Marketing at Quantum Courage GmbH & Co. KG. At Quantum Courage, they helped the company expand its high-end apparel brand to select luxury stores worldwide.

In 2014, Ankit joined Universal Music Group as part of their Digital Strategy team. In this role, they implemented data-driven initiatives that significantly increased online marketing campaign effectiveness and reduced the company's annual marketing budget. Ankit also utilized big data tools to predict the success of songs and plan marketing strategies.

In 2015, Ankit became the Managing Partner at R&D Labs, a boutique management consultancy in Stockholm that focused on big data analytics. With R&D Labs, they worked on projects in various industries, including music, adtech, telecom, infrastructure, and smart agriculture, utilizing their working methods to drive exponential results.

In 2017, Ankit joined Capitol Records as part of their streaming and strategy team. Ankit played a key role in playlisting and streaming strategy for frontline artists and was involved in starting a data-driven imprint called Listen For Pleasure.

Most recently, Ankit serves as the CEO of SNAFU Records, the world's first AI-enabled full-service record label. SNAFU Records has songwriters who have collaborated with renowned artists, and Ankit oversees the overall operations and strategic direction of the company.

Ankit Desai completed their education at various prestigious institutions. From 2013 to 2015, they earned a Master's degree in Business and Management from the Stockholm School of Economics. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued an A.B.J degree in Advertising and New Media at The University of Georgia. In 2010 to 2011, they studied at SKEMA Business School, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mass Communication/Media Studies. In 2009, they briefly attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
