Massimo Derchi

Chief Industrial Assets Officer at Snam

Born in 1963, Massimo Derchi is an Italian business executive who currently serves as the chief industrial assets officer at Snam. Prior to this role, they served as the CEO of ERG Renew SpA from 2011 to 2016.

Derchi began their career in 1996 as the director of projects at Air Liquide Italia. Massimo then moved to Balcke Marley Italia in 2003, where they served as managing director until 2004. Derchi then took on the role of manager of strategic projects (south units) at Erg Raffinerie Mediterranee in 2005. Massimo was promoted to director of planning and controlling at the company in 2008 and held this position until 2010.

In 2010, Derchi left Erg Raffinerie Mediterranee to take on the role of director of refining at Erg Spa. Massimo held this position for one year before being promoted to director of procurement in 2007. Massimo held this role until 2009, when they left Erg Spa to join Snam Rete Gas as the company's chief industrial assets officer.

Massimo Derchi studied electrical engineering at Università degli Studi di Genova.
